Engineers,
Thank you for reading and hopefully this is an easy fix as I need a second set of eyes. I use a network vulnerability assessment tool called GASSP which is similiar to the GOLD Disk tool that was used for vulnerability assessments on Government networks. Before I ran this tool and enacted 75% of their recommended fixes I was able to scan files directly from an HP 9250c Digital Sender into a folder. We authenticate to the network right there at the Sender and then scan in the Folder share. The folders are protected by permissions as each folder has protected information in each with a direct set of users that have access.
The GASSP Tool had several recommended value changes in the User Rights and SecOps section and I made the changes. I'm now trying to reverse engineer the changes but I wanted to ask the community, what values in these two sections (User Rights and SecOps would prevent access to a network share. Im getting the access denied message and I have triple checked permissions for my users.
