Hi,
This is definitely not a popular topic, but I understand why. We're looking to migrate data off of our Isilon x210, OneFS 8.1.2.0, that currently communicates over SMB only. The target will be a Windows Server 2019 Datacenter Edition virtual machine.
I came a cross a few options to migrate data. The new Admin Center Storage Migration Service looks like it hasn't been tested/supported for FreeBSD, and there isn't documentation that supports it would work on the /ifs/ SMB directory of the Isilon Unix FS. Datadobi DobiMigrate looks like a good tool, but I'm concerned it might be a bit expensive. Also, the obvious other go to I can think of is robocopy.
Is anyone familiar with any solutions that may work best in this use case?
Thank you in advance, I appreciate your help.
Best,
Daniel
