Hello all,
I am having an issue with a few of my users recently regarding mapped drives. We currently have a simple batch file logon script that maps the network drives they need. These are Windows 7 Enterprise machines.
Here is what is happening.
1. User logs on and script runs. Script states that all drives are mapped successfully.
2. Open Explorer and one or more of the drives is not mapped.
3. User can either browse the network to get to the drive, re-run the script to get the drive, or even put the path in the Explorer window or Run box.
4. If user runs script to re-map the drive, user has drive all day long.
This does not happen all the time. Have checked user properties and user account is not locked in AD. I do not see anything in the event logs that is jumping out at me. I do not want to manually map the drive due to users moving from machine to machine at times.
Thoughts? Little help??
