We have to migrate our file server from a Windows 2003 to Windows 2012 server.
Before I have used both Robocopy and File migration tool but now I'm looking for a new tool. Is there any?
Can not understand that Microsoft not yet released a proper tool for this kind of task. They still pointing to Robocopy.
Migration tool is a nice tool but it dosen't work with Windows 2012. Robocopy is great (including Utility Spotlight) but there must be a better tool anywhere, handling big data and, of course, doing it in incremental style. This is the year of 2013.
So, does anyone have any tips?
...secondly, for you who migrated from Windows 2003 to Windows 2012. Did you activated DFS and ABE from the beginning, had any problems with that?
