Dear community,
recently we made an "IT-Check" at a lawyer's office. The office have got 3 lawyers / 10 PCs. They have got one server - Windows Server 2003 Std. running with Domain services. Because there is no new server needed it is not an option to buy a new one (it's really not necessary). At a Windows Server 2008 or 2008 R2 I would use the Windows Server Backup, which makes VHD files to have the possabilty to make a quick restore in case of defective hard disks.
Does someone have got experiences regarding a full backup solution?
Doeing some research I found 3 different providers
1. Active@ Disk Image (http://www.disk-image.net/). It is quit cheap but I never heard about the software. Further I did not read something about restoring the full backup to another hardware system
2. O&O DiskImage 5 Server Edition (http://www.oo-software.com/corp/)
3. Symantec Ghost 15 (I haven't found any information restoring the software to a different hardware system)
Thank you for you help in advance.
