I have a Windows Server 2003 DC and a fileserver with Windows Server 2008.
The clients sometimes losing the connect to shares.

Event 2088 - Directory Service _ NTDRS Replication
Active Directory could not use DNS to resolve the IP address of the source domain controller listed below. To maintain the consistency of Security groups, group policy, users and computers and their passwords, Active Directory successfully replicated using the NetBIOS or fully qualified computer name of the source domain controller.
Invalid DNS configuration may be affecting other essential operations on member computers, domain controllers or application servers in this Active Directory forest, including logon authentication or access to network resources.
Event 4007 - DNS Server
The DNS server was unable to open zone <zone> in the Active Directory from the application directory partition <partition name>. This DNS server is configured to obtain and use information from the directory for this zone and is unable to load the zone without it. Check that the Active Directory is functioning properly and reload the zone. The event data is the error code.
Event 13516 - File Replication
The File Replication Service is no longer preventing the computer IW-SRV-INT1 from becoming a domain controller. The system volume has been successfully initialized and the Netlogon service has been notified that the system volume is now ready to be shared as SYSVOL.
Type "net share" to check for the SYSVOL share.
