My customer has server 2008 standard. I created a network share from a Windows Vista workstation. About once every week or two the folder will lose the permissions, to a point where the administrator can't log onto it and I believe they have in some cases
delete the folder and recreate it. The users of the folder are downloading files to it so they have read, write and modify rights. They are also running Windows security essentials on the workstations but I don't think there is any virus software on the server.
I am not their IT person I am a vendor that provided software that downloads voice files to this folder so they can be typed later. Their IT people have no answers so I am coming here for help.
