Are three enclosures needed in order to have two-way mirroring of jbod enclosures?
If I have two jbods and two failover nodes both serving up data. I want to make the jbods mirrors of each other so prevent a a single point of failure with the single jbod. According to the jbod storage spaces documentation
social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/11382.storage-spaces-frequently-asked-questions-faq.aspx#Enclosure_Awareness_Support_Tolerating_an_Entire_Enclosure_Failing
"To tolerate one failed enclosure with two-way mirrors, you need three compatible storage enclosures. "
Is there another way to make two jbods work? Isnt a third jbod enclosure for this setup just a waste of space?
