Dear Microsoft fanatics,
I have the most annoying issue at a customers setup. The customer has 3 servers. 2 of them are working with server 2008 R2 and the 3th one (an VPS) is installed with server 2012 R2. There are several DFS namespaces setup with replication for their user profiles, home folders and shared data.
The issue now is with 1 of the shares (a simple data share). This share is setup through the following root folder
domain.local\public
in this root folder, their are in total 4 namespaces setup.
3 out the 4 namespaces works fine, but their is 1 namespace that we simply cannot get to work.
We have checked on all the 3 servers and the permissions on all sides are full control.
The root folder on all 3 servers, are shared with full permissions on the domain users group.
The NTFS permissions on all the 3 servers are also full control on the domain users.
I have no idea where i can check or what i am doing wrong. The share permissions on the namespace itself are setup with full control on all the 3 servers.
Is their anything that i am not seeing?
