We currently use DFSR (for Data collection) to replicate data from our site servers to DFSR Hub servers at our Data Center where it is then backed up to tape.
For one of our site servers, Site A, we would like to enable Branchcache in Hosted cache mode to allow users in Site B to access the data while still using DFSR at Site A to replicate back to the Data centre.
There is a server at Site B that will be used for Branchcache.
All servers Windows server 2008 R2 SP1 Enterprise Edition.
Does anyone see any issues with this scenario?
All my Searching finds articles comparing DFSR OR Branchcache.
It would be great of the scenario could be validated as OK in principle.
I don't see any issues but can't find that validation.
