iSCSI drives regularly disconnect

Hello all

I have the following lab setup:

1 WS2012R2 DC

4 WS2012R2 (Core) nodes (20GB OS disk) with each 4x 50GB storage.

2 WS2012R2 (GUI) fileservers (60GB OS disk) with no additional local storage.

The two fileservers are clustered.
I am trying to connect all the node's local storage to the clustered fileservers using iSCSI. I made an iSCSI virtual disk for each physical disk. Having the fileservers connected to the nodes is no problem.

However, upon reboot of the entire setup only one of the four nodes automatically reconnects. On the surface there seems to be no difference between the four nodes, and after manual reconnecting the others everything is back to normal. This behaviour persists: every reboot only 1 node (always the same node) reconnects to the fileservers. I have then noticed the following in resmon after applying load to the cluster from a Windows 7 client:

As you can see, there is a fundamental difference between the network connections to srv-wss-12 (which is the node that seems to automatically reconnect) and the three others.

My question is the following: What is so different, why is it like that and how do I fix it?

Kind regards

Daan
