We had DFS-R setup and ended up having a problem that caused it to stop replicating, this is now resolved and replication is working again but there's just over 130GB of data that needs to be sent from server01 to server02
the link between the servers is 2Mbps max (and this is shared with users in that office) so as you can imagine in about a year it may catch up!! in 2 days it has only actually sent 0.9GB
just wondering if there is a faster way to do this? as a test I tried creating a few small files on server01 and waited for them to replicate over, took a copy of them. then changed the original files and put the copies onto server02.
the files on server01 ended up getting overwritten although they were the last to be edited (I guess because I copied them onto server02 after they were edited)
so my question is, what would be the best way for getting the 130GB of data onto server02 and replication caught up?
