One of our DFSR servers stopped replication and reporting JET error -1078 which tells me that an offline defrag is a must. I have noted that the automatic online defrag events have also stopped since dfsr logs started showing above error.
What is the correct way to perform an offline defrag on DFSR.db?
Can I safely (and in an MS supported way) use esentutil for this?
Or is there any wrapper command/tool available and must be used to acheive this (like what Ntdsutil is for NTDS.dit)?
Also would like to learn if there are any size limits exist on DFSR databse?
Thanks in advance.
