Hi everyone,
I came to an issue whereby two of my WS2012 servers of 2 different sites were not able to access each other admin share, both sites are connected through VPN via WAN link. However the admin share of both hosts are accessible from WS2003 serversof any site.
After some troubleshooting, I found out that after I disabled SMBv2 and SMBv3 of WS2012 servers, they able to access each other admin share. Means the VPN via WAN link only allowing SMBv1 traffic (or SMBv2) to pass through.
I couldn't find any setting required of SMBv3 on network devices or VPN setting, could anyone kindly enlighten me on how to allow SMBv3 traffic through WAN link?
