Hello all, and thank you for taking the time to possibly assist me.. Since my first day of hire at said company, Primary Domain controller was a Dell Power Edge 5200 server running Windows Server 2008 R2. I began getting complaints from various engineers stating they were unable to save/overwrite .PDF files, using AcroPlot Pro (and Matrix) and even Acrobat XI Pro. After opening and editing the PDF off the server, then try to save it, it would state the file was currently in use, forcing them to save as a different file name, or saving it locally until I could manually delete the file using the server itself, or remote desktop. All users have full read/write access to the folders, but if they attempt to delete the PDF themselves off the server from their computer, it comes back after leaving/closing the Windows Explorer.
I recently built a new Server hoping a lot of the issues we've had in the past with the Power Edge would go away... This problem still persists and almost seems that its worse than before the migration.
Is there a setting somewhere that I'm Missing? Server is completely up to date and i can't seem to find any information on the internet about this issue... Please Help :(
