We started testing Work Folders for our corporate network. What our IT director is seeking is a seamless synchronization of user redirected folders - similar to offline file sync.
It seems he is dissatisfied with the fact that when we disconnect from the network, the Documents folder is not caching files, as normally would be in a loss of connectivity with the server which hosts the redirected folder. Thus Work Folders does not seem to provide a "offline" functionality for the Documents folder.
He seeks a solution that users will not have to remember, "We need to start using work folder, folder", and drop our files there.
Basically, is there a way we can make files available offline within Documents without resorting back to Offline files, and re-sync when back on the network using Work Folders?
