Can DFS-R Server configured with staticrpc replicate with multiple partners?

This is a 2-part question regarding a server that has been configured with the dfsrdiag staticrpc /mem:<servername> command as described in the following blog post:  http://blogs.technet.com/b/askds/archive/2009/07/16/configuring-dfsr-to-a-static-port-the-rest-of-the-story.aspx

First part:

In order for staticrpc to work, do both partners in a replication group need to be configured this way?  Seems like it's possible, but not required, but figured I'd ask since I have your attention. ;-)

Second part:

I understand that when a host server is configured this way, and a replication partner requests a port on which to operate DFS replication, the host server will always respond with the same port (as opposed to a random one).  However, what if multiple replication partners (such as in a hub and spoke replication topology) request a DFS-R service port?  Since they'll all get the same port, will everything work?

Thanks...
