All the VSS writers are listed stable with no errors. Windows server backup works fine, it is just a 3rd party cloud backup that is failing and that company seems to think there is nothing they can do. The VSS writers load slowly (1-2 mins) when a "vssadmin list writers" command is issued, so the backup times out. It feels like I have tried everything, I tried re-registering the writers, rebooted multiple times, and turned off antivirus. I have compared the writers to a SBS that is working fine and they are all the same. If anyone has an idea as to why the writers would load slowly please help!
