I have a couple of servers that are reaching around 30% fragmentation but they are being backed up by ShadowProtect and taking incremental backups every hour. I know that best practices according to ShadowProtect state not to defrag the HD because it will
basically create a new full backup. If this is done then I will have to ship a roundtrip device off to allow the new backup image to sync with the cloud.
At what percentage point would you all recommend defraging these servers?
30% , 35%, 40%?
