I recently upgraded my server to server 2012 r2 from windows 7 and have been experiencing an issue that I can't seem to solve. I have a shared network drive on the server that I use to copy files between computers in my house.
It worked just fine until I put server 2012 on it, now I'm experiencing slow read speeds when trying to transfer files from any other computer. It sits at calculating for a while before it decides to start copying the file and when it eventually does its extremely slow (~200kb ish) and it will eventually time out after a while. However the write speeds are working correctly and no hangups what so ever.
Another thing I noticed is that accessing webpages from the server is also a lot slower, not sure if this has any relation to the issue above.
If I boot in to windows 7 everything works just fine, however I'd rather use server 2012 if possible.
Any Idea's?
