Ok so i have added my 2008 R2 file server as a namespace server. I have used robocopy to preseed the files. i have enabled replication. All is going well. Now i want to remove the older 2003 R2 file server. Now I would assume
i need to test this setup so maybe i can just shut the 2003 R2 file server/namespace down first and then if none of my clients notice i could then just remove it as a namespace server and stop replication. is that the basic idea in order to move form
2003 R2 to 2008 R2 in DFS? Thanks.
