Running some performance tests on a Windows Storage Server 2012 R2 box.
I have a Storage Pool with 2 x 256 GB SSDs and a volume in that pool set up for mirroring.
Accessing locally I can drive about 150,000 IOps on that volume. When I set up an iSCSI LUN on that volume and access via 10GBps iSCSI I can't get above 10,000 IOps. Jumbo frames are enabled and ping-tested with 9000 byte packets without fragmentation successfully.
Anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot/improve performance?
