I have a new client whose web dev used MS-SQL and .NET to create their site...works fine.
But I need to add a blog now to same - and the web dev is asking for a whole bunch of $ - plus they've stated that WP will not run on a MS server...which I know of course to be untrue as I run more than a dozen other clients on one of our w2k3 servers just fine (php & mySQL were installed too).
So my question is should I "move" the client over to my own server and now host it on my own - even tho I'm not really adept at .NET builds....being a classic ASP guy still? And if that's the way to go - what do i need to ask the web dev "for"
to make that move?
Any help/counsel here would be great....
