2008R2 servers
We have about 35 users that are creating an insane amount of DFS backlog files. We've been steadily bumping up the staging area to 8, 10, then 20GB but it doesn't help. We've seen backlogs as high as 30000 files! There's no way that users are touching that many files.
Does adjusting NTFS security permissions on a folder cause all files that inherit that permission to be flagged as changed?
