I've read the below explaining why you shouldn't have a loopback configuration when using Hyper-V and and SMB3 file share together. Makes sense, but what isn't clear to me is if the suggestion of using a drive path instead is actually supported?
What I'd like to do is take 4 hosts all attached to the same JBOD storage, configure them as a Hyper-V Cluster and use Storage Spaces to present the drive to each of the hosts as a drive letter and not a UNC path. Is this a supported configuration or not?
