iSCSI Initiator source IP addresses change in GUI after reboot

I have noticed that on 2 servers I have been configuring lately that the iSCSI Initiator source IP addresses change after you reboot the computer. First I noted this on Windows Server 2008, and more recently on a new Windows Server 2012 install. For example, on the Favorite Targets UI, I have 4 targets for my SAN. When I click on details for each, it seems to have randomly picked Initiator Source IPs.

This is not a new issue- the problem is noted here and here.

Microsoft, why has this not been corrected in a service pack or hotfix for Windows Server 2008?? And why in the WORLD is it still happening on Windows Server 2012? I have been going crazy trying to figure out why my iscsi IP addresses keep changing when I reboot. Many hours have been wasted troubleshooting this issue. Please fix the GUI!

After reading the article above I found that by using iSscicli, the mappings are not actually changing. So I guess it's working properly. But the GUI should show the same information that iscsicli shows. Is that too much to ask? I imagine there are a lot of others who have wasted a lot of time because of this.
