Hi there,
I have two file servers running NFS. One is a 2000 server which works fine, the other a 2008r2 server to replace the 2000 server.
The permissions are idendical, anon access is allowed and R/W access is enabled. Also the NTFS permissions has the everyone group down for full contol on both.
When we move file from the unix server to the 2000 server the files are moved sucessfully with the everyone group having full control to the file. However, when we move the files to the 2008R2 share the file is moved but with "special permissions" for the everyone group. Also, on unix we recive a cp: chown failed <filename> Permission denied error.
