Hello All,
I'm constantly getting DFSR Event 5008. I have 2 DC/DNS/DHCP/DFS Windows 2012 servers. both servers only get Event 5008 every few hours. No replication between servers happening. RPC, DFS replication, Firewall looks fine. What in particular should I look in to troubleshoot this issue.
DC1 event 5008
The DFS Replication service failed to communicate with partner DC2 for replication group Home-Replication. This error can occur if the host is unreachable, or if the DFS Replication service is not running on the server. Partner DNS Address: DC2.domain.com Optional data if available: Partner WINS Address: DC2 Partner IP Address: The service will retry the connection periodically.
