Greetings,
today several users reported missing files and folders.
A look in the secruity settings showed, that all user permissions, except the ones from the administrator group, have been vanished.
After adding the specific user / group again, the problem was solved and the folders reappeared.
The Problem seems to only affect recently changed folders/files.
One word about our system setup:
Currently there are two Windows 2008 R2 File-Servers using DFS to provide the users access to our data.
Logs on the file servers have been checked, no conspicuous entries found.
Any ideas, how the permissions could have been removed?
