Suggestions for IOMeter tests

I'm looking for any suggestions on tests to perform using IOMeter (version 1.1.0, if that matters) that best represent a Server 2012 Hyper-V workload.

Put another way, I'm not sure what values to select for things like # of Outstanding I/O's; Transfer size; sequential vs. random; and read vs. write that represents a typical Hyper-V workload.  Also, are there any other settings I'm missing?
