If I navigate to the Volume my DFS folders are located - \System Volume Information\DFSR\dabase_xxx\ I have a file caled $db_dirty$. I found this article which I am unable to remove the database_xxx folder - http://www.leversuch.co.uk/solved-dfs-error-the-replication-group-is-invalid/
What does this mean? When I stop the DFSR service it changes to db_clean and when it is running it says db_dirty. Is this OK? The reason I ask is because I am having an issue with a particular repliacted folder group. I have 4 repliacted folder groups and 3 are replicated flawlessly and 1 is not. I want to be sure the db_drity has nothing to do with my issue.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
